Welcome to Healthy Behaviour 2018.  I hope everyone has had a lovely little break spending time with family, friends and loved ones.

Setting new years resolutions and goals are upon us… how is everyone feeling about the year ahead?  I’m excited, a fresh year, new thoughts, ideas and goals are so motivating and exciting.  January is the time of year where we get to stop for a week or two, think, prioritise and reset.

Have you asked yourself, how are you feeling this year?  Are you ready to take on this new year with renewed energy, vigour and determination?  Hopefully you are feeling very positive and motivated to make the most of this year ahead.  Focusing on what is important to you, whether that be spending more time with loved ones, being more active this year, getting outside and enjoying this amazing place that we live in.  Or it could be focusing on reading more books and taking more time to relax and support your health, perhaps losing a little weight.  This is the time to reset, enjoy this time!

One thing to think about is setting realistic and achievable goals to ensure you are setting yourself up for positive results to keep you focused and on course.  I suggest you check in with yourself every quarter, give yourself half a day to check-in at least four times a year.  Book it into your calendar, prioritise this!
